Auto top-up
Buy a pack automatically when your balance runs low, with a monthly limit. Settings, allowed ranges and why it might pause.

Auto top-up keeps your agents answering: when your balance falls below a number you choose, your saved card is charged for a pack, at the same price as buying it by hand. A monthly limit caps what it can spend. It's off until you turn it on.
Before you start
- A saved card under Billing → Payment method (buying a pack saves one).
Steps

Open Billing
Click Billing in the sidebar and find the Auto top-up panel.

Set when to top up
When my balance falls below: a number of credits from 10 to 50,000. It must be lower than the pack you choose. Default 100.

Choose the pack
1,000, 5,000, 25,000 or 100,000 credits. Default 1,000.

Set the monthly limit
Don't auto top-up more than $… a month: from $10 to $10,000, and at least the pack's price. Default $50. The panel tells you how many top-ups that allows.

Turn it on
Switch Auto top-up on and save.
You're done when
The panel shows auto top-up as on, with your threshold, pack and monthly limit. When it runs, the payment appears in its list and you get a receipt by email.
How it runs
- Your balance is checked every 15 minutes, and after you spend credits.
- The monthly limit counts calendar months in UTC, then starts again.
- If the next top-up would go over the limit, it doesn't happen and you're emailed.
Why it pauses
| Reason | What to do |

| Your card was declined | Nothing was charged. Update your card, then turn auto top-up back on |
| Your bank wants you to confirm a payment | Buy a pack by hand (your bank will ask you to confirm), then turn it back on |
| There's no card to charge | Add a card, then turn it back on |
| Something went wrong on our side | Nothing was charged. Try again, or buy a pack by hand |
You get an email whenever a top-up is declined or reaches your monthly limit.
If something goes wrong
The panel won't save my settings
Check the rules: the threshold must be below the pack size, and the monthly limit must be at least the pack's price. The panel shows which rule failed.
I hit zero even with auto top-up on
It may be paused (see above) or at its monthly limit, or your balance dropped very fast between checks. Raise the threshold so there's more headroom.
